Prayer Box DIY
Alright so now, I'm going to show you how to make a prayer box, sometimes, when I'm stressed out, I pray to God. And what this prayer box is, is it keeps you on the right track and not distracted when your praying. I like to write, and if you do too, this will be great for you. Don't think too hard when you write, God already knows. Just talk to him as if he's your best friends.
Now, all you really need is a soap box or any cheap box, sticky notes(or a small pad of paper), and a pen! You can also add soothing scents or whatever calms you down. Here's how mine looks:
Here are some verses you can add into your box!
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this combo of devotional and DIY! And also hope to see you later this week for another cool blog post!
Hey guys! I hope you are having a good year so far. Today I’m talking about why you shouldn’t give up on goals, dreams, or resolutions! If you work hard, you can go to great places(Figuratively, although i guess you can travel a lot, if you work hard…) . And also it would really help if you could check out the post “New Year, New Solutions…” Because it would really help if you filled out the survey! Anyways let’s get started!
So above is a picture of my work that I did about a year ago. When I made it, I was very proud of myself, but now...not so much. Hand lettering was something I really started enjoying at around that time. And I didnt think about it as something i really wanted to pursue. But the more I did it, the more i enjoyed it, and the more I started practicing and learning from it. That’s the thing about goals and dreams, it has to be something you enjoy or something that motivates you. Or else your more likely to not do it. Although sometimes, that might not be the case. For example, if you’re out of shape and need to exercise, you might start going to the gym. You probably don’t like it, but the end product is something that motivates you. You want to be fit so that’s why you do it. My point is not to do only the things you enjoy because sometimes God might want you to do something that’s hard. The point is to find a different route to enjoying and achieving those goals. You want to finish a product? Encourage yourself. Tell yourself why you want to finish it. And if you’re stuck? Remember why you started.
Back to speaking about my disappointing hand lettering...I have improved! If I didnt keep practicing and doing it, and I started with using Crayola Markers, I would never be where I am. It takes patience. And trust me, I am NOT patient. Ask my parents. But if it is something you really like, you’re more likely to continue it. And I did! So here’s my work now. AFTER practice and determination.
If you want to start a hobby, more specifically hand lettering, don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t look as good as you hope. Oh gosh remember the blog post “Wanna try this cool lettering?” I just like cringed while watching the video right now...Anyways, one of my favorite quotes is “Every professional was once a beginner.” I like it because it makes me feel that even the best person at anything was once in the same spot I am now. So remember that and also remember that if you really want to get good at something, keep working and practicing toward your goal. Because you can do anything with God in your life. I have to give lots of credit to Dawn Nicole Designs. Without her and her blog I would never be where I am now. You should really go check her out if you’re interested she has tons of tutorials, worksheets, and more!
I really hope you enjoyed my blog post for today! And please stay tuned for more coming soon. If you subscribe you can be emailed right when I post something! So please do that and like and tell all your friends! Byeeeeeee
Happy Earth Day guys! Watch this video to see how to accept the challenge of keeping our Earth beautiful and clean!
There are some things in life we might have to let go of. But we can trust Jesus to lead us to bigger and better things through him.
Watch this video to find out about Discipline!
The kind of discipline i'm talking about is doing the things you need to do to get the results you want to get.
Hebrews 12:11 NCV We do not enjoy being disciplined. It is painful at the time, but later, after we have learned from it, we have peace, because we start living in the right way.
If you want to become something no one else is you have to do things no one else does.
Discipline will develop good character, and good character leads to Godly Living.
Discipline isn't always fun. Sometimes it can be hard, but it builds godly character and helps you become who God has created you to be.
Write/think one area you need ot have better discipline in, and write down one thing you can do about it.
Visit www.bible.com or go to the Bible App and find the plan: Godly Living
