Hey guys! So today I'm going to review "one of the best mechanical pencils". Tombow OLNO Mechanical Pencil. Dawn Nicole also recommend this product on her blog. I’ve never done a review before so hope y’all like it! Before you click off, keep reading you might wanna buy one for yourself! I don't really expect this post to be my best one but it might be useful if you're looking for a sweet pencil. Or if you're just bored and want something to look at.
A lot of us have some type of inner creativity. The best way to unleash it? Sketch it out. First you need a good pencil...oh what a coincidence here's a blog post about a good one!
First the features...
-Has a 0.5mm lead, perfect for thin and detailed, or thick for you people who are heavy handed(me)
-Not gonna lie, AS IM WRITING THIS post, I realized it had a refillable capped eraser. Thanks Dawn Nicole. So it doesn't show it, but if you pop the cap off, theres a sneaky eraser hiding underneath. That's why I didn't talk about that in the video.
-So many colors! It comes in 3 different cute styles and colors.
-Super Comfortable rubber grip. I honestly don't know what else to say. The first four words said it all.
-Unique Body Knock. You know what? I'll just let the video explain.
The good, the bad, and the truth- just kidding its only the video...
So yeah. I hope the video covered the rest. But this truly is an amazing pencil and I highly recommend it! Get yours here!

I hope you at least had a good time checking this post out and stay tuned and subscribe for a post later this week! Thanks!
Hey guys! I hope you are having a good year so far. Today I’m talking about why you shouldn’t give up on goals, dreams, or resolutions! If you work hard, you can go to great places(Figuratively, although i guess you can travel a lot, if you work hard…) . And also it would really help if you could check out the post “New Year, New Solutions…” Because it would really help if you filled out the survey! Anyways let’s get started!
So above is a picture of my work that I did about a year ago. When I made it, I was very proud of myself, but now...not so much. Hand lettering was something I really started enjoying at around that time. And I didnt think about it as something i really wanted to pursue. But the more I did it, the more i enjoyed it, and the more I started practicing and learning from it. That’s the thing about goals and dreams, it has to be something you enjoy or something that motivates you. Or else your more likely to not do it. Although sometimes, that might not be the case. For example, if you’re out of shape and need to exercise, you might start going to the gym. You probably don’t like it, but the end product is something that motivates you. You want to be fit so that’s why you do it. My point is not to do only the things you enjoy because sometimes God might want you to do something that’s hard. The point is to find a different route to enjoying and achieving those goals. You want to finish a product? Encourage yourself. Tell yourself why you want to finish it. And if you’re stuck? Remember why you started.
Back to speaking about my disappointing hand lettering...I have improved! If I didnt keep practicing and doing it, and I started with using Crayola Markers, I would never be where I am. It takes patience. And trust me, I am NOT patient. Ask my parents. But if it is something you really like, you’re more likely to continue it. And I did! So here’s my work now. AFTER practice and determination.
If you want to start a hobby, more specifically hand lettering, don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t look as good as you hope. Oh gosh remember the blog post “Wanna try this cool lettering?” I just like cringed while watching the video right now...Anyways, one of my favorite quotes is “Every professional was once a beginner.” I like it because it makes me feel that even the best person at anything was once in the same spot I am now. So remember that and also remember that if you really want to get good at something, keep working and practicing toward your goal. Because you can do anything with God in your life. I have to give lots of credit to Dawn Nicole Designs. Without her and her blog I would never be where I am now. You should really go check her out if you’re interested she has tons of tutorials, worksheets, and more!
I really hope you enjoyed my blog post for today! And please stay tuned for more coming soon. If you subscribe you can be emailed right when I post something! So please do that and like and tell all your friends! Byeeeeeee
Before you continue, please read my previous post and complete the survey thanks! So I don’t mean to show off or brag about anything because I am grateful for everything but I honestly like to see what other people got so I thought it’d be fun to show y’all! This isn’t everything, I got a few small stuff in between from relatives and friends but to make this post short and sweet, I will be sharing the main ones or the ones I use the most. Also, I am very grateful for all of these things and couldn’t ask for more because all anyone needs in life is Jesus. Thank you mom, dad, family, and Santa ;).
1. James Avery Charm
So I have a charm bracelet but so far I only had one charm, a camera, so I asked for a new one. And this year, I got a tiny violin charm since this year I feel like I’m really getting into it after 6 years! Ha so yeahhh. A couple days ago, we went to the store so they could put the charm on, and since I’m out of town right now, I will get it when I get back.
2. Ugg boots
For a verrrryyy long time, I always wanted Ugg boots. So last year I got some off brand ones from Target(which I still really love) but I always longed for the real ones. So this year, I got some very cute black boots with bows on the side. I originally wanted them(the bows) on the back but I love these just as much!
3. Tombow Dual Tips-Galaxy Palette
Yay! I also wanted these for a while. I was a bit hesitant because I thought they’d be a lot like ones I already have but boy was I wrong! These are great for be blending and I really love the galaxy palette ones, so thank you to my Secret Santa, my brother. I highly recommend these. Although, I got the Black Friday bundle with the blending guide and glue pen things so they probably don’t sell that bundle right now. A review for the pens will be coming out soon!
4. Hollyn Sweater Merch
I love the artist Hollyn so my brother/ secret Santa got me this sweater from her collection and it’s so soft I love it!
5. A new phone?
Ok soo, I didnt really get this at Christmas like wrapped and stuff I got it a couple weeks before because the phone I had was ready for an upgrade so we upgraded to the iPhone XR because the price different was good. This was an amazing gift and I am so grateful and thankful for my dad and the phone so many thanks to him!
6. A card...
hehe funny story about this gift... one day I was in my room doing who knows what and my parents were out running ‘errands’ so then I heard the doorbell ring. I looked through the window and saw it was just UPS. So I opened the door, grabbed the thin package, and went inside. The package was made out to my name, Ximena Romero. Oooohhh....My first thought was that it was a letter saying I needed to pay the $5 for my friends product that I recently bought and still needed to pay for. (It’s called *CoolStuff check it out at the end of this post!) Anyways so I opened it and it was papers from a bank company. I started a savings account about a year ago so it was probably from that. Nope, it was a credit card with the money from my savings account! I sent a picture to my dad asking about it and he replied “Merry Christmas” so yeah that was pretty cool...
My relatives and friends also gave me some wonderful things as well so MANY thanks and love to them ;)
As well as I also just happened to buy myself Dawn Nicole Procreate Brushes on Christmas so kinda a Christmas present?...
THANK YOU so much for all these things even though the only thing anyone needs in their life is Jesus! Also thanks for checking this post out and i hope you have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
*Check out Cool Stuff...
Please read my previous post and complete the survey
To the small amount of people reading and keeping up with my blog posts, I’m sorry. I keep saying I haven’t had time and stuff, and that’s partially true but honestly I’m just a really big procrastinator. One of my resolutions for next year is to post more content on my blog. It’s been a year and a half and things are still the same. I know I’m young but I want to start now. 2018 was NOT my best year in blogging. I posted like 3 times in the summer! When I should’ve been posting at least once every 1-2 weeks. And it saddens me the most that I had no Christmas posts! I’m very very sorry. But I hope 2019 will be better. I do have some cool things in mind for next year including more hand lettering and art...But now, I think it’s time for me to stop putting things off and being more responsible with my responsibilities. Thank you for those who still check out my blog! And keep checking because I will try my hardest to keep posting more content. Thank you and keep smiling. Please fill out the survey below. No one except me will see your answers and you don’t have to put in an email and name if you don’t want to.
Hey! Long time no blog post! I'm in a very happy mood because i'm back! And have some cool things planned! Also, im jamming to some Grace Vanderwaal!(I just realized that all my past sentences end with an exclamation mark...cause im happy and its been a great weekend)
Now, let me share about my summer. By the way, today is the last day of summer season! Bring it on fall! Anyways, throughout the summer I was blessed to be able to go to two amazing summer camps. One exclusively for PK's (for pastors kids...and also i went with my friend) and the other was our church camp. As well as in August, my family took a trip and we went to Colorado Springs and stayed at the AWESOME Great Wolf Lodge there, we also went to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. Looking for a cool place to go? Colorado is perfect with its breathtaking views and amazing shower water(yes...I said shower water...way better than Midland)
Soooo... Please stay tuned because I might leave little surprises in your inbox...if you subscribed...which you probably should... anywho, bye! And enjoy your last day of summer or first day of fall!
