You probably read the title and got really confused...but its true! I'm going to teach you how to make the easiest glue bookmarks! And they're really cute too! I'm pretty sure that at one point in your life you’ve put glue over a surface and waited for it to dry. And then satisfyingly peel it off. Today, we’re going to do a similar method and make beautiful bookmarks made by you!
1. What you’ll need
Here are the 4 things you’ll need to make your bookmark:
2. Start coloring your lid with the markers
Don't really focus on a specific design because the glue will probably mess it up so I just like to do different colors on a random pattern.
3. Squeeze the glue onto the colored surface
There's really no specific way to do it. Just pour the glue and the next step will cover it all. And you don't really need that much ;)
4. With the pencil(or other tool) evenly spread out the glue until the whole bookmark is covered
Depending on how you do it, when its done it will be kind of a marble effect! Make sure its even and smooth so it wont be uneven thickness and air bubbles.
5. Wait About 24 hours and peel it off!
6. Cut off any excess Edges
TIP: I cut the corners to make a cute shape instead of a regular rectangle.
And you're done!
Thank you so much for checking this post out! Make sure to ask me if you have any questions. And also stay tuned for an exciting blog post next week! Bye!
Hey guys! So today I'm going to review "one of the best mechanical pencils". Tombow OLNO Mechanical Pencil. Dawn Nicole also recommend this product on her blog. I’ve never done a review before so hope y’all like it! Before you click off, keep reading you might wanna buy one for yourself! I don't really expect this post to be my best one but it might be useful if you're looking for a sweet pencil. Or if you're just bored and want something to look at.
A lot of us have some type of inner creativity. The best way to unleash it? Sketch it out. First you need a good pencil...oh what a coincidence here's a blog post about a good one!
First the features...
-Has a 0.5mm lead, perfect for thin and detailed, or thick for you people who are heavy handed(me)
-Not gonna lie, AS IM WRITING THIS post, I realized it had a refillable capped eraser. Thanks Dawn Nicole. So it doesn't show it, but if you pop the cap off, theres a sneaky eraser hiding underneath. That's why I didn't talk about that in the video.
-So many colors! It comes in 3 different cute styles and colors.
-Super Comfortable rubber grip. I honestly don't know what else to say. The first four words said it all.
-Unique Body Knock. You know what? I'll just let the video explain.
The good, the bad, and the truth- just kidding its only the video...
So yeah. I hope the video covered the rest. But this truly is an amazing pencil and I highly recommend it! Get yours here!

Hey guys! I hope you are having a good year so far. Today I’m talking about why you shouldn’t give up on goals, dreams, or resolutions! If you work hard, you can go to great places(Figuratively, although i guess you can travel a lot, if you work hard…) . And also it would really help if you could check out the post “New Year, New Solutions…” Because it would really help if you filled out the survey! Anyways let’s get started!
So above is a picture of my work that I did about a year ago. When I made it, I was very proud of myself, but now...not so much. Hand lettering was something I really started enjoying at around that time. And I didnt think about it as something i really wanted to pursue. But the more I did it, the more i enjoyed it, and the more I started practicing and learning from it. That’s the thing about goals and dreams, it has to be something you enjoy or something that motivates you. Or else your more likely to not do it. Although sometimes, that might not be the case. For example, if you’re out of shape and need to exercise, you might start going to the gym. You probably don’t like it, but the end product is something that motivates you. You want to be fit so that’s why you do it. My point is not to do only the things you enjoy because sometimes God might want you to do something that’s hard. The point is to find a different route to enjoying and achieving those goals. You want to finish a product? Encourage yourself. Tell yourself why you want to finish it. And if you’re stuck? Remember why you started.
Back to speaking about my disappointing hand lettering...I have improved! If I didnt keep practicing and doing it, and I started with using Crayola Markers, I would never be where I am. It takes patience. And trust me, I am NOT patient. Ask my parents. But if it is something you really like, you’re more likely to continue it. And I did! So here’s my work now. AFTER practice and determination.
If you want to start a hobby, more specifically hand lettering, don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t look as good as you hope. Oh gosh remember the blog post “Wanna try this cool lettering?” I just like cringed while watching the video right now...Anyways, one of my favorite quotes is “Every professional was once a beginner.” I like it because it makes me feel that even the best person at anything was once in the same spot I am now. So remember that and also remember that if you really want to get good at something, keep working and practicing toward your goal. Because you can do anything with God in your life. I have to give lots of credit to Dawn Nicole Designs. Without her and her blog I would never be where I am now. You should really go check her out if you’re interested she has tons of tutorials, worksheets, and more!
I really hope you enjoyed my blog post for today! And please stay tuned for more coming soon. If you subscribe you can be emailed right when I post something! So please do that and like and tell all your friends! Byeeeeeee
Happy New Year! I hope it’s been good so far! Before we continue, I would love if you would check out the Blog Post “New Year New Resolutions” and then do the survey after. It would help a lot.
Getting organized is a very popular resolution because people just want to get through all the clutter and achieve more things. Today I’ll be talking to you about how to stay organized for the new year and what I’m doing to -try- to stay organized. . January can be a boring month but let’s not make it boring instead make it a month to work things out and get more settled into the year. Here are 7 things you can do to start becoming more organized.
1. Keep a bullet journal or Planner
Want something a little more customizable? Then use a bullet journal! Most of them you start from scratch… but I hear ya! You don’t want to waste your time perfecting each little thing. I get it, but there are TONS of easy ways to get started. Don’t feel overwhelmed! It’s easier than you might think so i encourage you to try it and maybe start with my post on the Beginners Guide to Bullet Journaling. Don’t wanna start now? Don’t worry! It’s not really a yearly thing you can start in any month!
2. Self Journal
My dad needed something to keep him and his thoughts organized this year. He’s not really a “Happy Planner” guy and didn’t have time to be making a Bullet Journal. So this year he got into something called a SELF Journal. A little pricey? Yes. But it’s worth it! This is a 13 week simple yet powerful daily planner to help you optimize your day, tackle your goals, and just be happier in general! I highly encourage you to go check it out now! https://bestself.co
3. Step by step...or Check by check
Don’t feel like you have to tackle everything in one day! Take it slow and make lists(helpful with Bullet Journaling;)) Take your time following your priorities and complete each goal successfully.
4. Have monthly Goals
Start small! (The Self Journal also really focuses on setting monthly goals and achieving them) It might feel like you have too many things to tackle but all you have to do is set up 1-3 monthly goals and just focus on achieving those during the month.
5. Rearrange your room
I always feel so much better and refreshed after I clean, organize, and rearrange my room. Just play some music and get to work! It will be worth it in the end once you see the change. You don’t have to go out there and buy all the stuff, just start with what you have and play around with what you can do with it. I always tell myself that if my desk is messy, my thoughts get messy too.
6. Clean out your closet and Donate Items
This follows number 5. Maybe you have some clothes you realize you don’t wear often and it could happen to be things someone else really needs. Once you have your closet cleaned out and almost new, you too might feel the same. Don’t start the year hoarding and buying so much stuff, keep it simple and then your year will be more simple.
7. Letter to yourself
Even though this one sounds silly, try it! For bigger yearly goals, I like to write letters to my future self and i find it kinda helps. Once you have those bigger goals in mind, write a short letter to yourself asking if you accomplished them and what is happening. It always feels better to write down your thoughts and goals so you know what needs to get done.
And that’s it! One thing I am doing this year, or i should say the next 5 years, is writing one small ‘line’(paragraph) every day for 5 years! Then I can look back to see all the things I did each day! Pretty cool right? Not too late to start one, grab yours here! I hope you have a fantastic day!
